Justin and Sarah struck up a friendship their Freshman year of high school. High school brought years of memories with a wonderful group of friends that are still close friends to this day. While flirtations existed at times... J&S were busy having fun to be anything more than just friends.
College took them to different states (Go Cougs, Go Ducks) but J&S stayed close and summer breaks were a time for catching up and boating on Lake Sammamish.
After college graduation J&S both found themselves back home in Sammamish trying to navigate the Architecture & Construction industry. It wasn't long before everything changed with one single kiss.

It was a normal Sunday filled with brunch, watching the seahawks game and dinner in Bellevue to celebrate Justin's parents' wedding anniversary... or so Sarah thought.
Upon arriving in Bellevue, Justin commented that they were early and that a trip to the roof to check out the helicopter pad would be a great way to kill some time (he had recently acquired the keys for a construction project, possibly a ruse?). Sarah thought about protesting (it was drizzling in typical Seattle fashion) but felt that this was a time when she should just go with it. As they wound through back hallways and up the fire stairs, Sarah became nervous and suspicious of what might be waiting on the roof.
Emerging outside and ascending the final set of stairs; Sarah stopped short at the sight of a bottle of champagne & flutes waiting on the far side of the roof. Justin took her hand and led her across the roof as everything became a blur//

July Second is the day it all began, with a kiss in which J told S to just go with it.
July Second, five years later will once again be the day when a kiss seals the deal and forever begins//
